About this Event

What was it like to be a child in Louisville in the past? How did children help their families?

This family friendly program is for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers to attend together. Please ONLY register the children participating. Babies and caregivers do not need to register!

This preschool program utilizes the power of nature play to learn about outdoor chores in Louisville. Families will learn about the work that went into washing laundry on a washboard and practice washing and hanging laundry outdoors on a line. Make an adorable clothespin craft to take home and leave with a whole new appreciate for modern washing machines!

This program series combines structured play, unstructured nature play, story-time, and hands-on-crafts to learn about outdoor history in Louisville! Classes will run through August, attend one or many!
