This Pre-K dinosaur program invites young learners to explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs! Children will be introduced to the idea that long ago, parts of this region were home to ancient life, sparking curiosity about how the land has changed over time. Through hands-on discovery, students will become “junior paleontologists” as they dig for pretend dinosaur fossils in a sensory excavation activity, using tools to uncover and examine their finds.
The program also includes an engaging dinosaur-themed story time, where children will listen to a fun and age-appropriate book about dinosaurs, helping to build early literacy skills and imagination. Guided discussion will reinforce key concepts such as size, habitat, and the different types of dinosaurs.
Designed to support early learning, this program encourages curiosity, teamwork, and exploration while introducing basic science concepts in a playful, age-appropriate way.
