Weekly Pregnancy Yoga, IN STUDIO Classes
These lovely super-friendly Pregnancy Yoga classes allow you to develop strength, flexibility and breath awareness whilst learning positions and movements for labour that can help you birthing your baby. We use movement to ease pregnancy niggles like sore backs, puffy feet and aches around the pelvis. These classes also give you some time to nurture yourself and connect with your baby at this very special time.
Also a great way to meet other mums to be in a really supportive and friendly environment.
NO previous yoga experience required.
We will work through calming and focusing breathing techniques, adapted yoga postures for the pregnant body that will ease out tension, ease pregnancy aches and niggles, as well as strengthen for labour and birth as well as pelvic floor exercises, stamina building and gorgeous deep relaxations that encourage you to tune into your own body and your baby too, and help you to sleep.
During pregnancy yoga can help to support mothers-to-be both emotionally and physically. These classes give expectant mothers time for themselves and practical tools to respond creatively and positively to the challenges of pregnancy, birthing and mothering in the modern world.
Open to women from 14 weeks (second trimester) of pregnancy all the way until the birth of your baby. Absolutely no previous yoga experience required (and many women have never been to a yoga class before). Everyone welcome - any age, body shape, fitness level and for all types of birth.
Cost: £10 per week (includes LOTS of extras, including free livestreamed classes, handouts and mini online practice library too)

Free on-street parking (no restrictions) or free car park 2 minues walk from the venue
Booking classes in advance essential.
You'll get to meet and connect with other friendly and welcoming local pregnant women from in and around York too. Creating a super friendly support network for when baby arrives - so important.
The classes include online resources for between classes too - relaxations and breathing practices, and short video practices for you to use at home, and guides and handouts too.
Plus you get to join my amazing private online Facebook community of local mums and mums to be too.
