About this Event

Work is changing. Business is changing.

The old rules no longer fit. Women of colour are leading the way in building careers and companies that prioritise flexibility, purpose, and innovation. From hybrid careers and portfolio work to digital-first ventures and values-led businesses, a new era is here.

Join us for PRECIOUS Nights, where we’ll explore how women are rewriting the script, on their own terms.

Dr. Rashada is a strategic technology leader with senior roles at Amazon Web Services, Vodafone Global Enterprise, and Cisco. She has led enterprise technology opportunities worth over €60m, combining commercial acumen with a passion for inclusion, diversity, and STEAM.

As co-founder of Your Future, Your Ambition, she inspires young people to pursue careers in STEAM and continues to lead the initiative pro bono. Rashada also serves as a trustee and advisor across leading organisations, and has been recognised with multiple awards, including the UK Prime Minister’s Point of Light Award and listings among the UK’s most influential women in tech.

Michelle Adams - Founder, Chatty Cats Care
Event Photos

Michelle Adams never imagined her love of cats would become the foundation of a thriving business. After leaving school with few qualifications, she went on to study musical theatre before completing a degree and a Master’s at Goldsmiths with the aim of becoming a teacher.

While studying, she began cat-sitting to earn extra income. When work proved hard to find after graduation, Michelle turned her side hustle into a full-time venture, and Chatty Cats Care was born.

Starting with just £200 and a handful of loyal clients, Michelle built a business that now employs more than 70 people across London, generating six-figure revenues. Her company not only provides trusted in-home care for cats but also creates flexible, supportive work for students and neurodiverse staff.

At PRECIOUS Nights, Michelle will share how resilience, creativity, and following an unexpected passion turned a small idea into a successful enterprise.
