Want to be fast and accurate? Are you ready to challenge yourself mentally and physically? Learn how to run the gun with us. Getting fast, accurate hits on target is the core of all combative applications. This course is for individuals who want to perform at a higher level of proficiency.
This course is designed to fill the needs of intermediate to advanced shooters. If you’re just beginning your journey into the world of combative firearms, this is not the class for you….yet. The majority of this program is spent applying the fundamentals of marksmanship while developing your speed and accuracy. This class is designed for the shooter who has a solid grasp of the fundamentals but needs to improve their accuracy and speed skills. This course will take the handgun from a sporting or plinking instrument to a combative tool while bolstering the skills needed to prevail.
Developing the combative speed & accuracy you will need should the unthinkable become your reality, Practical Combative Handgun will challenge any shooter while drastically improving your ability to make fast, accurate hits. Weapon manipulation skills and the fundamentals of marksmanship go hand-in-hand to create combative speed and accuracy. This course is for people who want to perform at a higher level, improve their shooting skills, and enhance adult learning for long-term retention.
This class utilizes a highly diagnostic approach to the fundamentals with extensive weapon & gear manipulation. Advanced recoil management, trigger manipulation, shooting platform, movement, and presentation of the pistol will all be covered.
This fast-paced and dynamic class will also take a unique look at a variety of topics including:• Review of the fundamentals of marksmanship• Review of common marksmanship problems and shooter solutions• Training under time duress• The value and pitfalls of competitive courses of fire
If you’re interested in getting to the next level of performance as a shooter and/or instructor, this class will help get you there. This class is filled with information we all should have learned when we first started shooting. Join us and learn how simple it is to shoot really well very quickly!
Equipment: Eye and ear protection and a billed cap will be required for all students, instructors, and spectators; handgun holster; handgun; minimum of three (3) handgun magazines; minimum of 1000 rounds of handgun ammunition; body armor is recommended.
