Join Maria of Mestizo Academy for hands-on cooking classes that explore the bold flavours and rich traditions of Mexican cuisine. Each small-group session includes cooking, tasting, and take-home recipes. Offered in English and Spanish.
Join us for a hands-on cooking workshop celebrating pozole, a beloved Mexican soup with deep roots in the country’s pre-Hispanic past. We’ll prepare a comforting chicken version, simmered with hominy in a rich, mildly spiced red chile broth, and finish it with classic toppings like shredded lettuce, radishes, lime, and crispy tostadas.
Learn to craft a flavourful broth, work with hominy, and blend your own red chile sauce for a hearty, customizable dish full of tradition.
