Powertex is a water based, non toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks).
This workshop is run by Michelle Melville certified level 4 powertex tutor.
In this class I will show you how to make 3d flex crackle paste using powertex and 3d flex powder. you will also make your own amonites using stoneart clay and molds to create a beautiful A3 canvas. You will then colour your masterpiece using bister spray (walnut ink) and on day 2 when your crackle paste has dried and cracked you will dry brush with white powertex to finish. The exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. Once finished you take your finished piece home with you.
Everything You need to make your canvas will be provided including gloves and apron. Please do wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy.
