About this Event
Powering Net Zero: The UK Battery Debate
Organised by the Energy Research Accelerator (ERA), this Westminster roundtable will bring together leaders from industry, academia, government and the public sector to examine the future of battery innovation in the UK.
As batteries become increasingly critical to transport, energy security and industrial growth, significant challenges remain around scale-up, supply chains, investment, skills and commercialisation. Held during Net Zero Week, this discussion will explore how the UK can strengthen innovation, support emerging technologies and build a globally competitive battery ecosystem.
The session will provide a valuable platform for cross-sector dialogue on the policy, partnerships and research needed to power the UK’s Net Zero future.
