This month, our Power of Love series will examine "Embracing Failure" (What's that??). Stuff happens, but we can change how we see and respond to it, and our responses are rooted in our bodies. Recognizing and retraining these responses can be the key to healthier, happier relationships and lives.In this workshop, Janice Taitel, 5th degree black belt in Aikido, "The Way of Harmony", digests over 3 decades of Aikido training to offer "short cuts" to its insights. Through discussion and some gentle physical practices, we will explore ourselves through an Aikido lens, extending from the physical to everyday interactions. Physical contact will involve grabbing another's wrist, and is completely consensual and optional. If you can breathe, think and feel, you can participate.
