Join us for an exclusive guided tour of the newly restored Power Hall at the Science and Industry Museum, led by the designers behind its interior transformation, Studio MUTT Architects.
This special event offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Manchester's most significant industrial heritage spaces following its major redevelopment. Studio MUTT will share the design approach behind the project, discussing how the historic Grade II listed building has been carefully reimagined to showcase the museum's remarkable collection of working engines while creating an engaging and accessible visitor experience.
Following a short introduction, you will have a guided tour through the interior of the Power Hall, highlighting key interventions, conservation challenges, and the thinking behind the restoration. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and gain first-hand insight into the process of working within one of the city's most iconic industrial buildings.
Tickets are now live on Eventbrite. Children can join for free when accompanied by a paying adult! One complimentary drink will be available after the tour for each ticket purchased!
