Learn how to use the pottery wheel alongside your favorite person! Partners, friends, or family, our date night pottery wheel classes are open to all. Learn together to center your clay on the wheel and craft your very own bowl or vessel. No experience required! All pieces made in class will need 3 weeks to dry and be kiln-fired. You can choose a color for us to glaze your pieces for you or return to the studio to glaze them yourself for free. Minimum age is 18 yrs. Tickets are per couple. BYOB friendly!All pottery will be made using high-quality, microwave and dishwasher safe, stoneware clay.
During the class, the instructor will go over the basics, give you a short demonstration, and answer any questions, as well as come around and offer assistance or suggestions.
All pottery must be picked up within 60 days.
Important Details:
-Wheel throwing is a bit messy (it IS mud!), so we highly recommend not wearing anything you wouldn’t want to get clay on. Aprons will be provided.
-Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. BYOB Friendly!
-No opened toe shoes or heals in studio.
-Long hair must be tied back and hand jewelry must be removed.
-Space is limited, only 6 students per session.
