The introductory class allows students to learn how to throw on a potter's wheel and hand build (i.e. add a handle if you made a mug, a lid if you made a jar). You'll make a cup, vase or bowl on the wheel and then add accents to your piece.

A pottery wheel class is a creative and hands-on workshop where participants learn the art of creating pottery using a potter's wheel. At the end of the class, participants have the opportunity to keep their finished pottery pieces. Some classes may also offer the option of firing and glazing the completed pieces, allowing participants to have fully finished ceramics to take home and enjoy.
