Pottery Evening Class (Thursdays) - Spring 2026

Whether you're a complete beginner or someone with previous ceramics experience you'll get to try out different techniques and use a range of tools in this pottery class, led by our pottery tutor Lucy Andrews.

All materials are included.

Classes will run from 6-8.30pm every Tuesday for eight weeks, from Tuesday 29 January to Thursday 19 March 2026.

Lucy Andrews is an experienced ceramicist, currently working as a ceramics technician and part time visual arts tutor at Leicester College. In addition to this, Lucy runs shorter adult workshops at Two Queens Gallery in Leicester, where she also has a studio space.

Students, staff and visitors are required to register their vehicle and pay to park on campus. There is a flat evening rate of £1 after 6pm. You have 30 minutes from arrival in which to complete the registration process. Parking outside Edward Barnsley and the 3D Design building is not available to non-permit holders prior to 6pm.

The classes take place in the 3D Design Building which is part of the School of Design and Creative Arts. It is a single storey building with step-free access. Parking is available close by.

If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of when running the event, please let us know via the booking form or email [email protected] in advance of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.

We will issue refunds for cancellations (minus Eventbrite fees) up to seven days prior to the first class, but no refunds will subsequently be issued unless a class is cancelled and cannot be re-arranged.
