This is a two-session hand building ceramics workshop. 2nd session will be May 3. The focus for this workshop is to be Pet Portraits.
Pre-registration is required - 308-345-4816
Cost for the workshop is $35 per person
includes clay, materials, and firing fees for the duration of the workshop
Participants should bring a picture of their pet to work from
Participants will:
learn foundational hand-building techniques, including pinch, coil, and slab construction
develop an understanding of clay behavior and its various stages
gain hands-on experience with surface finishing and glazing techniques
complete a set of finished ceramic pieces (estimated 1-2 per participant)
