About this Event

This event is hosted by the University Graduate School.

Join this small group social to meet other postgraduates for a relaxing walk around Winterbourne House and Gardens followed by a coffee or tea on us! A perfect way to take a lunch break with a difference on campus.
Winterbourne House and Gardens is an Edwardian historic house and garden nestled in a leafy corner of the Birmingham campus.
Winterbourne House and Gardens is free entry to all UoB students but you must have your student ID card in order to enter. We are unable to guarantee entry if you do not bring your student ID card with you.
We'll meet outside the front door of Winterbourne and our hosts will hold a sign to make it really clear who is there to meet you!
This is a chance to spend some time away from your desk out in the fresh air, see a different part of campus and meet new people all at the same time. Walking can have a whole host of benefits for both your physical and mental health, including improving mood and reducing stress and anxiety.

This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate taught students (PGTs) and postgraduate researchers (PGRs).

PGT programmes include: MA, MSc, MBA, MEd, LLM, MPH, Maths SKE, MPA, PG Affiliate, PG Certificate, PG Dip Ed, PG Diploma, and PGCE.

PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.

Registration will close 15 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may be refused entry if we have met capacity and you are not on the list. We have limited capacity so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
