Positively Center Street: The Early History of the Iron Horse
Join us as we kick off the Iron Horse’s 47th anniversary month with Positively Center Street: An Iron Horse History Event, a special free evening celebrating the club’s early years. Founder Jordi Herold will sit down with Jim Olsen for a live onstage conversation about the Iron Horse’s history which goes back to 1979. They'll be sharing stories from its first days as a coffeehouse on Center Street to hosting legendary artists and the community that grew around it.
The night will also feature memories from longtime staff and collaborators, plus highlights from the Forbes Library Iron Horse archives to help bring the history to life.
Free and open to the public at the Iron Horse on Sunday, February 1, 6:00–8:00 p.m.
