Portsmouth & Southsea Wildlife Watch - Wonderful beach creatures
About this Event
Join us for our summer Wildlife Watch in beautiful and popular Eastney Beach! We will learn about the different habitats and species found on Eastney Bach and the Solent through a shell scavenger hunt, an active game and land art. We will finish the session by a litter pick to leave the beach clean.
Suitable for Families (children aged 5-15 accompanied by their grownups)
Meeting place: Eastney Beach (Near the public toilets situated near the Eastney swimming pool (now closed) Portsmouth, Southsea PO4 9NB
Bus number 25 stops at Ferry Road (15 min walk from the beach)
There are free parking spaces in Henderson road. Bicycle parking in front of the toilets.
Toilets available by Eastney Swimming Pool.
Please make sure you come prepared with suitable outdoor clothing and footwear (hats, sun cream and wellies/water shoes). Bring plenty of water with you (there is a refill water station on site).
