Objective

Portfolio reviews are a great way to get unbiases, candid feedback on your images. The professional photographer who works with you will provide concrete advice, tips and tricks to take your images to the next level.

Schedule and Format

Portfolio reviews are fifteen minutes in length. Participants can bring examples of their work digitally on a laptop or tablet. Prints are also welcome. Participants should select up to 15 of their images. Images should cover different subject matter. Avoid bringing multiple images of the same thing. Instead, choose “the best of the best” of your work for review. A professional photographer from the Austin PPA will review and provide feedback on as many images as time permits.

About the Reviewers

The Austin Professional Photographers Association (Austin PPA) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1950 by a small group of local working photographers who were also members of the Professional Photographers of America.

As a chapter guild of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the purpose of Austin PPA is to advance the art and profession of photography, to encourage and maintain positive relations and interchange of creative thoughts of its members and the community.

Austin PPA regularly holds seminars and conferences to showcase the talents of local and national professional photographers.

Austin PPA members and the Board of Directors give freely of their time and experience to educate aspiring photographers in the Austin metropolitan area.
