About this Event
Join DC Bird Alliance for a special Pop-Up Wildlife Photography Workshop during Birds and Brunch at The Parks at Walter Reed.
This session is open to participants ages 14 and up and offers a hands-on introduction to wildlife photography in one of DC’s most vibrant green spaces. The campus is rich with birdlife, making it the perfect setting to learn, practice, and capture images in real time.
Participants will receive guidance from experienced photographer and ornithologist, learn foundational techniques, and head out into the field to put those skills into action. All equipment is provided, so no prior experience or gear is required.
If you are curious about photography, love being outdoors, or want to see birds in a whole new way, this is for you.
Space is limited. Please register only if you are able to attend.
Participants must be at least 14 years old to register. Parent or guardian permission is required.
Workshop Photography Policy:
All images captured using DC Bird Alliance equipment are owned by DC Bird Alliance and may be used for educational and promotional purposes. Participants may download copies of their images for personal use at the conclusion of the workshop.
