Osprey once nested in Iowa but disappeared with the arrival of European settlers. During the early 2000’s, the Iowa DNR with the cooperation of county conservation boards were able to bring them back to Iowa’s waterways. We will have binoculars and spotting scope set up in the parking lot throughout the summer depending on what phenomenon is happening at the nest. Sign up to be notified about dates and times.
