Pop-Up Jam: Pioneer Park Bandshell in Stillwater

Welcome to the second pop-up on a public, outdoor STAGE!
Please read the "About" section in the Group Profile for how this jam will be run. It's a little different than a "normal jam".
Acoustic only except for a bass amp and a microphone that will be passed to each singer. You're encouraged to back up each singer (it's still a jam) with instruments or voices.
If you want to pre-select up to 3 songs, to guarantee that you get your favorite songs in at the beginning, send them to me including the 1. song name, 2. song artist whose version you prefer, and 3. the key you prefer. Send to me via Messenger or text (if you know me).
The day before, I'll compile those songs and create a randomized playlist and publish the list in the Discussion feed so you can familiarize yourself with each one. If we have too many requests, I'll narrow down to two per person for the first part of the jam.
SET UP:
4:30pm, we can start setting up on the stage. BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS!!!!
PART ONE:
5:30pm we'll start with the song list that I will publish - in the order that's published. If you're not there when we get to you, we move on.
BREAK:
6:30pm there will be some burgers grilled up for sale near the bandshell. BYOB! Yes, alcohol IS allowed in the park. Bring chairs, coolers, food, and check out the views!!! If you're not eating, you can keep playing.
PART TWO:
7:00pm, the music will start up again and we will either finish the pre-selected songs or move on to an open jam where we pass the microphone, and you choose your song on the spot. If you don't have a song when the mic gets to you, we'll move quickly to the next person so we don't waste anyone's time. You still need to call out the song, artist and key (loudly).
END TIME:
9:00pm, we are done playing.
NOTES:
1. Many people bring iPads and look up tabs (Ultimate Guitar is handy), so bring it if you have it. I'll bring paper copies of the pre-selected songs so we can be polished and move smoothly through them without guesswork.
2. The setting sun will be strong on the stage at the beginning, so bring a brimmed hat or sunglasses.
3. If the weather is too bad, and even though the stage is covered, this will be cancelled. Lighting, strong winds, tornado warnings... no good. I will formally cancel the event in FB if this happens.
4. I will be paying the City of Stillwater to utilize the stage, so I will have a donation bucket available if you want to help me out a bit. Even if you don't donate, this is a labor of love for me and I'm happy to pay.
