Backyard Medicinal Herbs

Join Master Herbalist Lisa LeCuyer as we walk a local park and discover medicinal plants growing right in our neighborhoods. Come along for a fun and engaging medicinal plant walk as we explore the healing herbs growing all around us. We’ll begin the first half of the workshop in the classroom at Healing River Chiropractic, where we’ll learn about several local medicinal plants, their traditional uses, healing benefits, and how they can support our everyday wellness.
Then, we’ll head out for a short walk to a nearby park to meet these herbal allies in their natural environment. Along the way, you’ll learn plant identification, discover the magic and medicine hidden in common plants, and deepen your connection to the natural world right outside your door.
