June 27, 2026 – Join us at The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge for “Pollinator Day” on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2 pm. We will have educational exhibits on gardening, attracting pollinators, native plants and much more. Children can dress up as beekeepers for a family photo or watch live butterfly caterpillars going through metamorphosis. We will have fun activities and games for children to enjoy including
visits from our bee and monarch butterfly customed characters. The event will be outside (weather permitting) in the gardens or inside the new Education Center.
If you have not been to the bridge recently, stop by and see our newly planted gardens and visit the Education Center.
