About this Event

We are looking for participants to help us learn more about the biodiversity of the canalside in Old Oak and Park Royal. Having more informationa bout the species of pollinator being supported by already existing habitats will alow us to plan future conservation projects, helping make the canalside home to an even greater array of life.

We are looking for people local to the area to under take a monthly or bi-monthly transect walk where you will count pollinators along a 1km stretch of canalside.

This first session will be an introduction to the process and learn about how the information you gather will help with our conservation efforts. After that (if you decide to sign up), then you will be assigned a stretch of canal and you will take you monitoring walks as and when you are able up till the end of September (starting again in April 2027).

Meeting Point:

The Canalside next to Old Oak Lane, infront of the Collective building.

If you are interested but cant make the date then please email [email protected]
