Step into the Arts Center’s Main Gallery to paint a dot on its walls!
Often, as part of a trip to the Heidelberg Project in Detroit, founder Tyree Guyton invites visitors to paint a polka dot on the street or sidewalk, making their mark on the installation. We echo this practice, reflecting the JMKAC community’s presence in the exhibition.
In preparation for the installation of Heidelbergology: Is It Art Now? visitors are invited to help cover the walls of the gallery with Guyton’s signature multicolored polka dots!
Paint and brushes will be provided.
