About this Event

Join us for Politics & Paint: Signs of Justice, a creative conversation and hands-on art experience at ROMAC.

Throughout history, signs have helped people speak up, organize, challenge injustice, and imagine a better future. Together, we will explore powerful signs and messages from movements including women’s suffrage, LGBTQ+ rights, Black Lives Matter, workers’ rights, and more.

After the conversation, participants will create their own sign inspired by the issues, hopes, and truths that matter most to them. Come ready to learn, reflect, paint, and make your voice visible.

This event will be moderated by NaQuia Futel and will include special guests.

Donations are encouraged and help support future arts and community programming at ROMAC.
