About this Event

Explore the joy of watercolor painting in this beginner-friendly workshop taught by Jayne Kennedy. Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques while creating nature-inspired artwork in the peaceful setting of Gorman Heritage Farm. No previous experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.

About the instructor:

Jayne Kennedy specializes in bold strokes with vibrant colors in an impressionistic style, and she is especially interested in depicting sweeping landscapes and layered vistas. She seeks to provide visual solace with her meditations on nature. She earned her BFA at Ohio State University with a focus in art and its role in biology, and has freelanced as a commissioned painter for most of her adult life.

What does my ticket include?

This ticket includes your attendence to this 2-hour, instructor-led workshop, all necessary materials, and take-home information to continue crafting at home. You will also be given a free pass to visit the farm again during open hours!

Can children participate in this class?

This class is intended for adults. Keenly interested children over the age of 16 may participate, but need their own ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Programs run rain or shine. Dress for the weather if your program takes you outside!
  • No ticket refunds within 7 days of the program except in the case of Gorman Heritage Farm cancelling the program
