For the second year in a row

Kate Wright will be hosting a half-day poi workshop

Working closely on how to work in a flow state.

NO Poi Experience needed

• Learning the art of poi flow
• Improving the art of poi flow

Day Program

• 11 am arrive and meet your teachers,
• 11.15 am warm-up and No Poi
• 11.30 recap on basic poi moves and flow
• 12.30 Tea and food break
• 1 pm- 2 pm new moves and flows
• 2 pm feedback and go home

What is Poi? Poi is traditional from New Zealand and has been part of their tribal culture for 1000 years. It is performed alongside the haka, which tells the story of their history.

In modern times, poi has become part of the flow world community. Often seen at festivals as part of the circus skills area,

What to bring: Warm clothing, waterproof clothing, gloves, boots, as it can get Muddy, an open and strong mind, more warm clothing, a packed lunch and water

We will supply Hot drinks and Biscuits

Please bring your own poi; some will be supplied.

Where to park

This is a Private campsite. There you will be parking on the Ground as you come into the Main gate area. There is a toilet there you can use before you walk up the hill to the workshop area.
