Poet’s Palace is back in Brum at Legacy, bringing fire to the mic, soulful sounds to the stage, and a buzzing community into the room. Expect headline sets, open mic magic, and music that moves.

HEADLINERS
EMMET O'BRIEN is a Dublin poet, performer, and organiser who emerged in 2017. Within six months he published his debut book ‘A Perspective From The Corrupt Mind Of The Youth’ - exploring substance abuse in working-class Dublin. Known for viral pieces like "The North Side" and "Dirty Dublin," he founded the event Vybrations and later Phat Cones.O'Brien has performed internationally, released three books, toured Europe, and delivers poetry workshops in prisons on mental health themes.
DEV is a multi faceted poet, aiming to flip the negative narrative that hangs over mental health, into one that can bring hope to those who need it.

MUPENEGURI is a Zimbabwean poet, writer and thinker living in Birmingham. The pen-name in his mother tongue means 'the one who looks inside of things to really understand their essence.'Mupenenguri the poet, engineers written and spoken word to connect; to awaken the parts of ourselves that have been forced to sleep silently; most importantly he uses words to remind people of their stolen greatness.Check out his Substack publication titled 'Mupenenguri speaks...' for more of his work.

Sam Gardiner – Keys
A self taught Jazz pianist whose style reflects that of Oscar Peterson and Red Garland who are 2 deeply revered pianists. Aside from Jazz, he listens to lots of Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, and other 70s and 80s music and take a lot of inspiration from these artists into his own personal creativity and piano style.
