Poetry Writing Jam + Open Mic!

A space to meet other writers, create new pieces, and share your work (if you’d like!)

All levels welcome, encouraged and supported!
About this Event

• 7:00-7:15PM: Intro and Social - Mix and mingle, socialize with other writers
• 7:15-8:15PM: Poetry Writing - Introductions, reading of a poem to inspire, surprise generative prompt (optional), time for free write
• 8:45-9:30PM: Poetry Open Mic/Bardic Circle - An opportunity to share your poetry/works in progress (either from this event or your previous work)

This event is for ages 18+, to protect our poets' safety and comfort in sharing. For now as we are building our community, our poetry nights are completely free, to keep our creative community accessible to all! However, we do request that you purchase at least one drink or food item while you're here (we promise, it's beyond worth it!), and we have a suggested donation of $10-20 to help support our events.
