Poetry workshop and open mic with Ross Wilcock ft Chris McQueer
About this Event
Writers will be offered a quiet space to write, including a prompt workshop station where a set of poems will be read and discussed.
Writers will then write anything of their choosing based on the poems being read.
The workshop will be followed by an open mic featuring reader Chris McQueer, where poets and writers will be encouraged to share their work.
Ross Wilcock is a queer disabled writer, spoken-word artist and Poet from Glasgow whose work explores the romantic, the tragic and living in a society not built for him. He is a recent graduate with an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow. He runs two successful poetry open mics in the city's West End.
