Poetry on Preserves: Mountain Bounty Farm
About this Event
Join Nevada County Poet Laureate and poets and for a morning of poetry at Bear Yuba Land Trust’s c’oom pe Preserve, home to scenic Mountain Bounty Farm.
Beneath the shade of a magnificent mother oak, the poets will share poems, followed by writing prompts to spark your own creativity. You’ll have the opportunity to write, listen, and share your work in the company of fellow poetry lovers.
This is a free event open to all. Please bring a writing utensil, notebook, and camping chair. We will provide refreshments.

Use the above address when mapping the location – DO NOT just search Mountain Bounty Farm as some browsers take you to the wrong location. Look for signs to the parking area.

HOW: This is a free event open to all though we do ask that you register in advance so that we know who to expect. Thank you!
DIRECTIONS: From Nevada City, take Hwy 49 towards North San Juan. Take a left on Birchville Rd and follow the road for 1.7 miles. You’ll see a sign for the poetry event with an arrow pointing left to park. Park in the parking area and then you’ll be directed to cross over Birchville and walk about an 1/8 mile to a beautiful oak where the poetry event will take place.
