The Poet Within is a poetry workshop alongside an open mic night, designed to demonstrate to attendees that anything can be poetry and that there is a 'Poet Within' you.

inspired by my own everchanging relationship with poetry, and wanting to teach techniques and the various ways of approaching poetry I have learnt, similar to the various ways of deseeding a pomegranate, the seeds being the poetry within you.

The Workshop would run 1 hours before the open mic night, 20 mins to arrive and warm up and break the ice. 40 mins to bring out the poet within!
