About this Event

Through a series of engaging writing prompts, you’ll gather ideas and inspiration to create your own unique self love poem!

Collage is a beautiful way to visually express different aspects of yourself, and during this workshop you’ll combine poetry and collage to create a personal piece that reflects your thoughts, experiences, and imagination.

Whether you’re looking to reconnect with yourself, meet new people, or simply try something new, this workshop offers a welcoming space to create and connect!

No previous writing or poetry experience is needed. Don’t let the word “poetry” put you off – with a few prompts and a little encouragement, everyone can write a poem.

Info: The first hour will focus on creative writing exercises designed to help you explore ideas and begin developing your self-love poem. You’ll take part in a group poetry evolution exercise, followed by a buddy activity where you’ll share ideas and start building your own poem using a guided worksheet.

Info: The second hour will focus on transforming your words into a visual collage artwork, combining materials, imagery, and creativity to create a personal piece that reflects your thoughts, experiences, and imagination.
