Birmingham’s most outspoken performers celebrate Black, Asian, minority heritage in this important month of #BlackHistoryMonth. An inspirational chorus of diverse voices that speak to issues of migration, of identity, of racism, of feminism and colonialism. Their spoken words, as they bear witness to both past and present struggles for justice, will challenge you and bring to light the realities of current times.
Poetic Justice is an event not to be missed with performances from Birmingham’s Poet Laureate Ayan Aden and Iyma, Jayda, Jay, Laura, Loraine, Ray, Ricky, Serena, Virginia. Plus DJ Deesh & host Shirin Housee.
Brought to you by Kings Heath United against Racism (KHUAR) in collaboration with BRIG (Birmingham Race Impact Group) Warehouse Café.
