Over the last few years, Hollywood legends Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg have chosen Birmingham to film parts of their latest blockbusters with 'Ready Player One' and 'Mission Impossible 7'. The main reason is that some areas of Birmingham can double up for many places including, America and London, and further afield with Grand Central doubling up for Abu Dhabi airport for Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One. He was able to show us how buildings are used and clever techniques to disguise buildings and let you think it was being filmed anywhere in the world. We stopped off for a break at the Queens Arms Pub on Newhall Street where Line of Duty [series 1] was filmed, & enjoyed our free drink. Lee also includes a quiz on your knowledge of films which is fun. This tour is a must for any film fans.
