Calling all Artist to join us for York's 3rd Plein Air event August 26, 27, 28, 29, & 30. Artist Registration: $35. Registrations end August 20, 2026Student Registration: $10
Registration includes painting as many paintings as you wish during the 4 days in any of the locations, opening and closing receptions, snack bag and water, networking with other artists, opportunity to sell works without commission during the 4-day event, added to call list for Artists for future shows at The Cab Gallery and Creative York. Registration will also include discounts at local restaurants, coupons, and discounts around York.
Schedule:
Wednesday - Artist Opening Reception - The Handsome Cab 6pm-8pm
Thursday Paint 9am to 9pm - Royal Square District
Friday Paint 9am to 9pm - WECO District York PA
Friday Nocturnal Paint 7pm to 10pm Continental Square
Saturday Paint - Market District York 9am to 9pm
Student Paint - Beaver Street 10am to 3pm
Sunday - Free paint, paint where you wish
Sunday - 2 hour quick paint George Street noon to 2pm
Sunday - Artist Closing Reception - The Handsome Cab 3pm-4pm
Artists Demonstration on Friday and Saturday - TBD
Artists Show and sale Sunday 4pm to 8pm
Artist Expectations:
1) Invite family, friends, collectors to the public exhibit sale, and meet the artist on Sunday from 4p to 8p. Post Cards will be available month prior to the event.
2) Responsible for easel, display of art, and all supplies.
3) Sale of art - artist must be present to sell artwork.
4) Art can be of any style but must be done outdoors
5) Responsible for delivery for sold works and containers or flat boxes for sales.
6) Demonstration artwork will be for sale, but not eligible for the people's choice award.
7) Returning signed copy of registration and artists information sheet. This will include location of each district, all events, times, any artist information needed and all activities specific to the artists.
Any unsold works will be eligible for a show at Cab Gallery above The Handsome Cab with the show opening the following for September. Commissions do apply.
