Greener Codorus Initiative

Join us for our vegetation maintenance program along the Codorus Creek! For the last 11 years we've stopped harmful herbicides from being sprayed throughout the downtown area of York City by manually controlling vegetative growth. Did you ever notice that the banks along the Creek are now GREEN? Well that's because of our work.
Come out and support a great cause, you'll even get a decent workout too! We have all tools and safety equipment. Please wear long pants, shoes with good ankle support and bring your own water bottle. Meet at: Foundry Plaza Codorus Boat Basin 220 W. Philadelphia Street York, PA 17401.
Please do not come out if it's wet or raining, we cannot do this work in wet conditions. Make up days due to weather or other events will be posted on social media as necessary. ALL VOLUNTEER HOURS COUNT TOWARDS ANY REQUIRED COMMUNITY SERVICE OBLIGATIONS. We'll even write letters for you, if needed! Bring a friend!
