Join us for Week 4 of our Plein Air Painting Series at Three Leaf Farm in Lafayette, CO, where we will explore the majestic beauty of mountain landscapes and dramatic skies. Session 4: The Mountains – Grand Landscapes & Dramatic Skies
In this session, we’ll focus on capturing the grandeur of mountain vistas and the sweeping skies that often accompany them. Learn how to approach mountain landscapes with strong compositions, layering techniques and atmospheric effects that create depth and realism. From sketching the landscape’s structure to painting dramatic skies and textured rocky ridges, this class will teach you how to capture the awe and scale of the natural world in your artwork.
