The Garden is going global! Join us for an incredible weekend featuring some of the best classic films from around the world. Running Friday, Oct. 10th - Sunday, Oct. 12th, we will be featuring films from 9 different countries. This inaugural weekend of international films includes beloved foreign classics like PLAYTIME, BICYCLE THIEVES, and METROPOLIS to rarely screened gems like Argentinian noir, NEVER OPEN THAT DOOR, or the West African satire, XALA.

Tati stars as the lovable, old-fashioned Monsieur Hulot; we follow Hulot’s exploits, which run parallel to an American tourist as the duo attempts to navigate a technology-modern Paris. This comedy of confusion perfects mise-en-scène, with every frame filled to the brim with inventiveness and quirky characters. In French w/ subtitles.
