PLAYING FOR PROZ: CELEBRATING DR. DAVID PROZNICK

This promises to be a memorable night of music as former students and colleagues of Dr. David Proznick come together to celebrate the lasting impact he has had on our local community.

“Proz” holds a special place in the hearts of those that were lucky enough to have worked with him. He led by example, showing us what can be accomplished when you put your heart and soul into your craft; a lesson that has served many of us well, both on and off the bandstand.

We’ve got an incredible lineup of musicians who will be performing, spanning a wide range of Proz’s tenure, including Simon Millerd, Tristan Paxton, Gavin Youngash, James Meger, Kyle Radomsky, Ben Henriques, Jordan Carrier, JP Carter, Dave Spidel, Jim Black, Brendan McLean, Greg Farrugia, Ed Johnson, Mark Olexson, Matt Skepasts, Dagan Lowe, Justin Gorrie, Tilden Webb, Daniel Cooper, Michelle Kearns (DuGuay), Dave Ison, Andrew Skepasts, Graham Shonwise, Kevin Lee, Jonathan Anderson, Melissa Hammer, Mike Ardagh, and others!

We are also using this event as an opportunity to give back to the local music community. All profits from the event will go toward establishing a new scholarship at Semiahmoo Secondary: the Dr. David Proznick Keystone Award, aimed at supporting future music students who embody his qualities of leadership, work ethic and dedication to community.
