About this Event

Location: Room 240, University College at 15 King's College Circle

Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026

Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Event Description:

This experiential, hands-on workshop explores the radical power of play as an embodiment of queerness. Led by an expressive arts therapist and incorporating playful activities across creative modalities, participants will reconnect with the playful self. We will discover how queer playfulness can heal wounds inflicted by harmful systemic forces, and teach us to take up space authentically, bravely, creatively, and in all our messy complexities. This is NOT group therapy; it is a community arts workshop facilitated by an expressive arts therapist.
