Play On! Clown Intensive

Interested in clown? Ready to rediscover the joy of play?
Through games, physical exercises, and lots of laughter, you’ll discover your silliest, most delightfully ridiculous ideas—and learn to fully commit to them. This jam-packed clown intensive is filled with collaborative and solo exercises designed to help you let go, embrace failure, and jump-start your clown journey.
Whether you’re brand new to clown or looking to deepen your practice, you’ll leave with a stronger sense of play, confidence, and connection. At the end of the intensive, each student will bring their favorite “stupid” idea to life in a playful clown showcase for friends, family, and fellow participants.
This workshop will end with a free invitational showcase. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a bag lunch, snacks, or drinks. Please register here for free. The workshop cost will be paid separately from the registration.

Instructor: Molly Renze
Molly Renze is an actress and comedian based in Los Angeles. She can be seen on “Sketchy Queens S2” on VH1 created by Jinkx Monsoon. She was recently named a top 10 Rising Comedian at the New York Women’s Knockout Comedy Festival. She trained with greats such as Philippe Gualier in France and SpyMonkey amongst other incredible teachers. She performs Clown all over Los Angeles at The Elysian, Hollywood Improv, Bob Baker Marionette Theatre, UCB and other spots.
She recently headlined Fest Of Fools here at Jackalope and at the Dallas Indie Comedy Festival, and debuted and sold out her hour long live silent movie with her clown trio “Silent Partners” Molly wants everyone to know she could beat you at guitar hero.
