Who says play is just for kids? Join us for a one-of-a-kind Play Day designed especially for older adults at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum!
Spend the day rediscovering the joy of creativity, curiosity, and connection through a variety of hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, and engaging experiences. Enjoy being a kid at heart again in a welcoming environment where curiosity has no age limit.
You'll have the chance to engage with two new museum exhibits -- LEGOs and a special Tuskegee Airmen exhibit, offering an inspiring look at the history. You can also explore open painting and art stations, challenge yourself with games and playful activities, and enjoy live music, prizes, and refreshments.
Research shows that play, creativity, and social connection can support healthy aging, reduce stress, and bring joy—and this event is designed to celebrate all three.
