4th Sundays of the month are for PLAYDATES WITH PO’JAZZ at Blue Door! Play Dates with Po’Jazz, a Poet Laureate Community Outreach Series, keeps going and growing in reputation and audience. This series, created by golda Solomon, had its beginnings in 1999 at the Hudson Valley Writers Center, Sleepy Hollow, moved on to a monthly residency at The Cornelia Street Cafe, Greenwich Village, traveled and is happily in residence at the Blue Door Art Center.
The Po’Jazz Ensemble is joined by featured musicians and poets. Open Mic artists are always welcome to sit in and jam, improvise and build their “poetry and instrument chops”
NO charge for admission and Tamara’s Treats Table
