Planting Seeds of Change: A Day with Flowers & Bullets

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Kids + Family Volunteers will come together for a hands-on experience in a vibrant community space. This project offers family-friendly activities that promote sustainability, creativity, and community connection.

Whether we’re planting, making seed balls, caring for animals, or working on other nature-focused tasks, volunteers will enjoy a meaningful day of learning, teamwork, and giving back.

WHY IS THIS WORK IMPORTANT:

This hands-on volunteer work supports Flowers & Bullets, a community-based organization dedicated to sustainable agriculture, education + cultural preservation in midtown Tucson.

By contributing to projects that revitalize the land + support green spaces, volunteers help foster food security, environmental sustainability + community connections. Together, we’re empowering neighborhoods + creating a thriving space for everyone to enjoy.

KIND NOTES:

This in an in-person, outdoor event.

• All supplies will be provided.
• Please wear hats, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes + bring plenty of water.
• Stay tuned for additional details to help you prepare for the day!
• For larger groups (5+), please contact us in advance to make special arrangements, as each project has a set capacity.
