Planting – a day of community action and celebration along Riddells Creek in MacedonSunday, 7 September from 10am to 1pm
Join restoration efforts by planting along Riddells Creek, an ecologically significant site located at the base of the iconic Mount Macedon and forming part of the headwaters of the Maribyrnong River, playing a vital role in the health of downstream ecosystems.
Spaces are limited, be sure to register ASAP.
Can't make it to the plantings, or want to continue the party? Head to Fed Square from 1pm for Planting Party, as part of RESET - a free festival for greener living. Planting Party will be hosted by ABC presenter dirtgirl, and it’s going to be a special day where you can connect with community, relax and listen to live music, join in a workshop with local artists or propagation experts and listen to some great talks from writers and plant experts.
