Come and join us as we plant an orchard over at Rodney Fields.
About this Event

This is a great opportunity to get outside in the winter months and meet other like-minded folk! We are planting a new orchard over at Rodney Fields and will be planting exciting fruit varieties, nuts, and delicious apple varieties.

Some of the tasks will be quite physical including barrowing woodchip, digging the ground with spades and using a tool to drive posts in. Other tasks will be less physical including placing the trees in their new homes and creating a map. Please come along for the enjoyment of coming together with community even if you are not planting the trees!

Please wear closed, sturdy outdoor footwear and gardening clothes and bring with you any rain protection you might need on the day. All ages welcome, under 16s must be supervised by their parents/guardians.

We will provide all the tools you need, light refreshments and hot drinks. Bring a packed lunch with you if you need something more than a snack. Please note we may not have access to the toilet on the day.

If you have accessibility requirements please let me know: [email protected]

Meet at the entrance to Rodney Fields, 36 Burnham Drive, M19 2JF. Access is via Acorn Close
