Come join us at HICKORY CLAY for a fun and creative workshop where you'll learn how to handbuild your very own planters and plant pots out of clay! This in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their inner artist and get their hands dirty. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, from shaping the clay to adding unique designs. Learn to make small pots or self-watering planters. In this beginner class we’ll walk you through designing a planter using slabs of clay and working by hand. You’ll get messy and learn to create your form out of clay. Pieces will be glazed and fired for student pickup in 4 weeks. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get crafty!
