About this Event
Originated by The Community Wildlife Corridor, Plantapolooza seeks to connect the wildlife populations in our local parks with habitat in backyard native gardens. Everyone is welcome to attend! The event is free with Sunken Gardens paid admission or membership, and will take place between noon and 4 p.m.
This Eventbrite registration is for volunteer growers who would like to supply native plant seedlings for the plant giveaway at the Plantapolooza event.
- Each grower is asked to sign up to provide at least 25 seedlings of a single native plant species. Growers are welcome (in fact, encouraged!) to sign up to provide more than one species.
- Plants may be started from seed, from cuttings, or by potting up volunteer seedlings.
- Growers should use 4" pots only. Pots and potting soil are available at no charge to registered plant providers by contacting event organizer Chad Hardy at [email protected].
- Questions about event logistics and/or soil/pot pickup can both be directed to Chad at the email address above.
- Want to grow a Florida native plant not listed here? Contact Chad.
- Growers should bring their plants to Sunken Gardens between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on January 25, 2026.
- Growers are welcome to attend Plantapolooza, but will need to pay the Sunken Gardens entrance fee like everyone else.
